Application Manager

Your task? To guarantee the very best quality of the Planon software for our customers! You do this by advising, guiding and helping your clients with the management of their Planon application both on site and remotely.

 

In this position you will be an Application Manager helping our clients with the functional management of the Planon software. You will be part of an international team that helps a very diverse set of clients, mainly in Sweden and neighboring countries, but also The Netherlands and the UK.

 

You will build relationships with your clients and help them solve incidents, implement changes and provide support for new releases. You will also guide your clients in the use of the application, give them advice and try to spot opportunities to help them further in the use of Planon.

 

Questions you may receive as Application Manager range from "How can I create a COVID-proof reservation system for my staff?" to, for example, "How can we best gain insight into the occupancy of our office buildings?".

Your responsibilities:

• Taking on an advisory role and providing support to clients with various issues;
• Building relationships with one or more customers and you will help them with incident resolution, implementing changes and upgrading to new releases, among other things;
• Maintaining, managing and optimizing the existing setup based on new insights, maintaining authorizations and archiving activities and data in the Planon application;
• Spotting and suggesting opportunities that the software and new releases bring, which may lead to new implementation projects or smaller changes;
• Creating and maintaining documentation and writing user instructions;
  Guiding the customer in the use of the Planon application through on-the-job training.

Profile

We are looking for a professional team player who, who is eager and passionate about our field. In this role you will use a combination of customer-focused skills and technical knowledge, with the aim of analyzing requirements, implementing and integrating the Planon software solution into our customers' IT environments. We are looking for someone with good communication skills and someone who is able to lead a workshop, for example, when needed. You will fit into the team if you are willing to share your knowledge and learn from the knowledge of others. We are also looking for someone who makes informed, appropriate decisions and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Our ideal candidate?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of IT or similar (or Facility Management in combination with IT affinity);
• Relevant working experience in a (similar) IT role.
  Knowledge of methodologies such as ITIL, BISL or similar is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Swedish.
