Training World War Run 2018

On Sunday, the 24th of June 2018, 11 of our colleagues in the office in Brighton-UK (that's 50% of us!) will compete in the World War Run challenge as the 'Planon War Heroes'.

WORLD WAR RUN is a 10-mile obstacle race in Dorking, Surrey created to commemorate 100 years since WW1 and honor our fallen heroes.

World War Run will take us through some of the toughest mud pits you’ll ever jump in, hilly terrain, barbed wire crawls, 80+ obstacles, mustard smoke and the famous paintball gauntlet!

Training for this unique adventure is important. The Bootcamp training started on April 3rd in Preston Park, opposite the Brighton Office.  This was already a muddy and wet experience. We are in this as a team, we stick together and make sure we all cross the finish with a big smile!

The Pukka Races chosen charity is Combat Stress – CS is the UK’s leading Veterans’ mental health charity. Their mission is to provide timely, effective clinical treatment and welfare support to Veterans who suffer from psychological wounds.

Come and join a team that works hard, plays hard and loves to win!
